Full-service interior design for the bungalows, Denver squares, and reimagined classics around Washington Park. E+E Design Consulting brings 15+ years of design and construction experience to renovations that respect the block and surprise the room.
Designing in Wash Park
Wash Park houses have a way of charming you into staying: a brick bungalow with its original oak floors, a Denver square with a porch built for summer evenings, a Tudor holding its own on a block of pop-tops. What most of them do not have is a floor plan that works for how families live now. Kitchens sit walled off at the back of the house, primary suites barely exist, and basements go unfinished for decades. That gap between what a house is and what it could be is exactly where our whole-home renovation work lives.
Kendra founded E+E Design Consulting in 2021 after 15+ years in design and construction, including architectural detailing, construction documentation, and custom cabinetry. That background matters in a hundred-year-old house, where every wall you open holds a surprise and every millwork profile either honors the original architecture or argues with it. We design renovations that are boldly personal and beautifully buildable: curated, intentional rooms with unexpected details, drawn thoroughly enough that your contractor can actually build them. Whether you are planning a kitchen and bath overhaul, a pop-top, or a down-to-the-studs whole-home renovation, we bring the same standard: thoughtful, livable, anything but ordinary.
Our closest finished work sits just east of the park. In 2023 we completed a whole home renovation in Bonnie Brae, minutes from Wash Park's east side, with a navy kitchen, his-and-hers offices, and a finished basement that turned a classic Denver house into something collected and personal. It is the project we point Wash Park homeowners to first, because the houses, the blocks, and the renovation questions are nearly identical.

Straight answers for Wash Park
Our nearest completed project is the Bonnie Brae whole home renovation, finished in 2023 just east of Washington Park. The rest of our portfolio spans the Denver area, from a down-to-the-studs renovation in Greenwood Village to a historic kitchen remodel in Colorado Springs. Wash Park's bungalows and Denver squares present the same questions those homes did, and we would love to answer them here.
Yes, they are the heart of our work. Projects include a down-to-the-studs renovation in Greenwood Village and a whole house renovation on Fulton Street where we opened ceilings and added white oak beams. Kendra's background in architectural detailing and construction documentation means the drawings are thorough and the details are buildable, which matters most in houses that have been standing for a century.
We meet projects where they are. Alongside whole-home renovation and new construction, we offer kitchen and bath design, furniture selection and styling, home refresh, and e-design. A single hardworking room can be the right first chapter. Whatever the scale, the approach is the same: intentional choices, unexpected details, and rooms that feel collected rather than decorated.
