Interior Designer in Hilltop, Denver
E+E Design Consulting brings 15+ years of design and construction experience to whole home renovations, kitchens, and furnishing work for Denver homeowners, including Hilltop's classic blocks around Cranmer Park.
Designing in Hilltop
Hilltop holds some of Denver's most confident residential architecture. Brick Tudors and Mediterranean revivals from the 1930s and 40s share blocks with rambling midcentury ranches and ambitious new builds, all of it anchored by Cranmer Park and its sundial views of the Front Range. These are houses families keep for decades, and many are ready for a next chapter: kitchens still walled off from the rooms where everyone actually gathers, primary baths that never caught up to the rest of the house, basements with more square footage than purpose.
That next chapter is our favorite kind of brief. Kendra Stewart founded E+E Design Consulting in 2021 after 15+ years in design and construction, with a background in architectural detailing, construction documentation, and custom cabinetry. It shows in how we work: renovations resolved down to the drawing set, so the bold ideas on the mood board stay buildable on your block. Whether you are opening up a 1930s Tudor, rethinking a ranch, or furnishing rooms you already love, the result is curated, intentional, and anything but ordinary.
The nearest proof of how we work is a few minutes southwest in Bonnie Brae, where our 2023 whole home renovation gave a classic Denver house a navy kitchen, his-and-hers offices, and a finished basement with real personality. Hilltop's architecture runs more formal, but the brief translates: honor the original house, then make it unmistakably yours. If you want to see what that looks like before we talk, the portfolio is the best place to start.

Before you call: Hilltop answers
Not in Hilltop itself yet. Our closest completed project is the Bonnie Brae whole home renovation, finished in 2023 a few minutes away. Across the metro area we have completed renovations in Greenwood Village, including a down-to-the-studs whole home, a main floor renovation in Stonegate, and a family room in Aurora, with a semi-custom new build underway in Castle Pines. Hilltop's established homes are exactly the architecture our studio was built for.
Yes, that is the work we enjoy most. Whole home renovation and custom remodels are the core of our studio, and Kendra's background in architectural detailing and construction documentation matters most in older houses, where surprises live behind the plaster. We design with the original architecture rather than against it, then document every decision so your builder can price accurately and build well. Kitchen and bath design, furniture selection, and styling round out the same full-service approach.
Not necessarily. Furniture selection and styling, and our home refresh service, exist for exactly this situation: rooms with good bones that no longer feel like the people living in them. We build room-by-room furniture plans, source pieces that read collected rather than bought all at once, and handle styling through the final reveal. If walls do need to move, we will tell you honestly, and we can design that too.
